Rocky Handsome (25 March 2016)

Rocky Handsome is an action thriller film directed by Nishikant Kamat. John will be seen in a new action avatar in the film. Shruti Haasan is casted opposite to him. In this film, he is playing the role of a married man who has a 7-year-old daughter. He fights with drug mafia to save his daughter. With John and Shruti there are Nishikant Kamat, Sharad Kelkar, Nathalia Kaur performing supporting roles. This is the strongest film of John Abraham releasing this year.

Dishoom (2016)

Another action film of John Abraham lined up to release in 2016 is Dishoom. He will be seen in this film with Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Dishoom is directed by Rohit Dhawan brother of Varun Dhawan. It is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and story is written by Milap Milan Zaveri. The shooting of the film is almost complete and according to news John and Varun both will be seen playing some hard action sequences.

Hera Pheri 3 (2016)

Hera Pheri 3 is comedy film directed by Neeraj Vora and produced by Feroz Nadiadwala. It is the third installment in the franchise of Hera Pheri started in 2000. John will be replacing Akshay Kumar character Raju in Hera Pheri 3. In this film with John Abraham, there will be Sunil Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Paresh Rawal, Neha Sharma, and Esha Gupta. Hera Pheri 3 is the most awaited comedy film and it will be fun to watch John in this series. It is expected that Hera Pheri 3 will release in August or September of 2016.

Force 2 (2016)

Force 2 is the sequel of Force released in 2011. In the Force John played the Assistant Commissioner of Police who fights with drugs smugglers and terrorists. In the Force, there was Genelia D’Souza opposite to John but in Force 2 we will see Sonakshi Sinha opposite to John. Sonakshi will be seen playing the role of RAW Agent in the film. Force 2 is directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The story of this film is written by Ritesh Shah. The release of the film is expected in June or July of 2016.

Dostana 2 (2017)

In the list of John Abraham’s upcoming films, next film is Dostana 2. It is sequel film to the Dostana released in 2008. It is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar and others. In this film, we will see John Abraham with Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, and Shreyas Talpade in important roles. Dostana was a successful film at the box office and it is expected that the sequel of the film will also do well.

Jaane Kya Tune Kahi (2017)

Jaane Kya Tune Kahi is the love story of director Abbas Tyrewala. This is the same director who makes Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. In the Jaane Kya Tune Kahi, he has signed John, Imran Khan, and Genelia D’Souza. The first film of Abbas Tyerwala Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na was a super hit film. In the second film Jhootha Hi Sahi, he signed John but the film could not perform well. Now, again he has signed John Abraham to his next Jaane Kya Tune Kahi. The film could release in first half of 2017.
